KUBOLOR
My first solo exhibition.
The aspiring musician
This project is deeply personal to me. It is built from memories of childhood, play, sport, music, movement, and the spaces that shaped how I saw the world growing up in Ghana.
KUBOLOR reflects on the creativity, curiosity, and imagination many of us carried long before our world knew how to value it. From dusty football pitches and after-school gaming centres to drums and cars,, rhythm, noise, and community, this work is an archive of the environments that raised us.
What started as personal reflection slowly became something bigger. A way of reconnecting memory, culture, youth, and identity through photography and storytelling.
Bringing this exhibition to life has honestly been overwhelming in the best way. The support, conversations, and opportunities surrounding this project continue to remind me how many shared experiences exist within these memories.
Exhibition dates, venue, and further details will be announced soon.
