The Sunday school collection part of the Kubolor project. Changing labels that was once meant to dismiss us.
Sunday school is where I first learned to dress. Every week was a quiet competition. Would you wear this dress or that one. Which colours, which combination made you feel seen walking in. Nobody called it fashion, but it was. We showed up trying to look as good as we felt, and we noticed when our friends did the same. That instinct, dressing with intention, dressing to be looked at and to look at each other, started here, in the pews, long before I owned a camera.
Prints are on sale on greatkins.com/store. Prints sold support a Kubolorrr mentorship and support initiative for creative kids.
