Timberland X Balamii
Client:
Timberland x Balamii Radio
Brief / Problem:
Capture the energy, personalities, and cultural context of the event while producing content suitable for immediate social media deployment. The challenge was to embed within the crowd and talent flow, rather than delivering staged or overly polished brand imagery.
Role:
Lead Photographer, Content Director (Spec)
Process Insight:
The approach prioritised proximity, movement, and authenticity. Hero coverage focused on Skepta’s headline performance, with candid documentation of artists including Nasty C, Strandz, Zeze Mills, Novelist, Finesse2tymes, and Miss Banks. A live photography booth provided on-the-spot images ready for social media use. Film content was shot with platform deployment in mind using fast paced edits for active visual story telling. Also ensuring fast turnaround and social-ready edits for immediate amplification.
Result / Impact:
Photography assets were delivered within 12 hours, creating immediate event impact during London Fashion Week. High-energy photography and short-form video assets reinforced Timberland’s credibility in music culture, extended the lifespan of the event beyond its physical space, and generated shareable, community-driven storytelling that resonated across social platforms.
